Since 1965 Neighborhood Services, Inc. has helped our Columbus neighbors to put healthy meals on their tables.

Our Mission

Neighborhood Services, Inc. aims to temper the ill effects of poverty by providing food and material assistance to persons in need in the Columbus community. We partner with Mid-Ohio Foodbank, local grocers and organizations to stock our pantry, and offer a 7 day supply of food on each visit according to family size.

OUR values

Neighborhood Services, Inc. improves the quality of life in the Columbus community by compassionately and respectfully serving our neighbors in need.

I had the pleasure of meeting some of the kindest, most joyous people I have ever met while volunteering at NSI, and I got to witness some of the wonderful community that they have with each other, which helped put things into perspective for me. I think your agency is a great asset to the community, and its importance was reflected in the emphatic thank-you’s, the excitement over fresh produce, and the joy on the neighbors’ faces that I had the privilege of constantly seeing while volunteering at NSI.
