NSI Food Pantry is excited to present: our annual Church Choir Concert Fundraiser! Featuring the combined talented vocals of several Columbus-area churches, join us for an evening of music and community as we come together to celebrate the blessings of the Thanksgiving season.
Bring a non-perishable food item donation or a monetary donation and receive a free pumpkin to enjoy! All donations directly benefit Neighborhood Services, Inc. Food Pantry. This event is made possible through support from the Joe Jackson Realty Group and COVA Columbus

The back to school program is open to residents of zip codes 43211, 43201, 43210, and 43211. Parents must sign up in person during the sign up time. Children in kindergarten-grade 12 will receive backpacks full of school supplies to start off the new school year. Sign-ups can be made during normal pantry hours (10-1) from July 5th-July 31st. Verification for children must be up-to-date in order to sign up.
Loaded hot dogs, fried leeks, tater tots, and all the goodness of a Columbus Classic! Dine at Dirty Franks Hot Dogs (248 S 4th St) MONDAYS in July, and proceeds will benefit NSI's Back to School Backpack Program. In 2016, 482 backpacks were provided for local children as they began a new school year. Bring your friends or family and stop by for a delicious Columbus Classic, and a good cause.
From June 17th-July 1st, visit a Connells Maple Lee location in Columbus, and join us by contributing a non-perishable food item. Receive a FREE, BRIGHT carnation, up to 6 per visit. Connells has three great Columbus locations:

Food trucks, live musicians, silent auction, raffle, and tours of the pantry- come join the party! Students connected to Neighborhood Services, Inc. through the OSU Non-Profit Immersion program have worked hard for months to plan this fun, family friendly event, for a good cause. A $5 entrance cover for individuals will be accepted, $10 for a whole family.
The Block Party will be held in the parking lot in front of NSI- 1950 N 4th St, Columbus, OH
Distribution of Christmas Food baskets will take place during normal pantry hours, 10 am-1 pm. Monday December 19th-Thursday December 22nd. Please bring photo ID. Distribution is open to residents of 43202, 43201, 43211, 43210 zip codes that signed up during the holiday sing up period (Oct 3rd-Nov 3rd 2016). Basket assembly will take place Thursday December 15th 5 pm-8 pm. Contact us if you would like to volunteer to help with Christmas basket distribution.
Each year NSI collaborates with students from the Ohio State University to organize a 5k run. We invite runners of any caliber and spectators to join us as we gear up to battle Michigan, while the proceeds of the race go to battle hunger in Columbus. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the race will begin at 10 a.m. The race will begin and end at Kottman Hall (2021 Coffey Road). Click here for details and registration
Thanksgiving basket distribution will be Friday November 18th, 10am-1pm, Monday November 21st 10am-1pm, and Tuesday November 22nd 10am-1pm. Please bring photo ID. Since sign-ups were required for holiday baskets, it doesn't matter which of these three days you come to pick up your basket.
